We price jobs in one of three ways.

  1. A standard hourly rate.
  2. A standard price for certain jobs like boiler servicing.
  3. A pre-planned job (usually larger pieces of work) where we give you a full estimate beforehand for you to accept.

We do not charge to quote or to inspect. We also do our best to gather all the information before we attend (usually via WhatsApp, because it allows you to send us pictures and videos of whatever needs doing).

How this works in the real world:

  1. Emergencies and repairs are charged on an hourly basis. When you contact us we may ask you to send a few pictures over. We try to give you an idea of how long the job will take, and get you booked in. When we attend, the work will be charged on the hourly rate. Occasionally extra problems arise that need more time spending on them, but we have a good track record here of not going beyond our estimated price.
  2. Some “standard” jobs have a fixed price. Boiler services are the best example of this. A flat rate makes it fair for all customers.
  3. Bigger jobs (like heating system work, air conditioning installations and so on) will be priced beforehand and you will be given a quote to accept.
